We are your tea party rental source for afternoon and high tea parties, bridal showers, baby showers, holiday parties, birthdays, church events, fundraisers and so much more. We even do “Men That Tea” parties! With our beautiful new and vintage tea ware and accessories, we will help you create an unforgettable tea party experience.

You can rent any one of our individual items for specific event needs or choose one of our unique Packages for a quick & easy online order. Our rental period is for 48 hours to allow plenty of time for delivery, styling and dismantling. You never have to wash any dishes at the end of your event, we do that for you! 

Because giving back and helping others should always be a priority, a portion of our proceeds goes towards local charities.

Is There A Minimum Order?

No, we can serve a party for two or a party for 200!

What Is The Difference Between The Retainer And The Security Deposit?

The retainer is to secure your rental items are reserved for your event. It is equal to half of your total invoice. The Security Deposit is in case of damage to rented items. Security Deposits are 25% of the Total Rental Invoice. For example, if your Total Rental Invoice is $500, then the Security Deposit is $125. If damage exceeds the Security Deposit, the credit card on file will be charged to cover the remaining amount of damages.

I Don’t Have Time To Set The Tables, Will You Help Me?

Love to! Don’t worry, we know exactly where everything goes. Let us know if you’re interested in this add-on service starting at $50.00 and we’ll include it in your pricing proposal. If you would like to set tables yourself, we will provide instructions for correct placement of items.

In fact, there’s a good chance I’ll be too tired to clean up after. Can you help with that too?

We understand! Cleaning and repacking our rented items by one of our staff starts at $75.00 depending on party size and items rented.

How Does This Work?

Step 1 – It’s simple! You can either order online or request a quote by calling us at 225-252-5207 or emailing a wishlist to [email protected]. We will check on inventory availability for your date and respond within 48 business hours with a quote.

Step 2 – If requesting a quote instead of ordering online, you have a two-week window to decide and accept the quote.

Step 3 – Secure your order with a 50% non-refundable retainer, a Security Deposit and agree to the terms and conditions. Please note, all items are rented on a first come, first serve basis.

Step 4 – Two weeks prior to your event date, we will adjust your quote as needed for the final time and you will pay the remaining balance.

Step 5 – Party time! Items are rented for a 48-hour period unless other arrangements are made.

When do I need to book my event?

We recommend reserving your items as soon as possible to ensure availability. Though we have quite the selection and variety of items, they are not endless. We recommend booking at least 2-6 months in advance of your event. We can rent on short notice, however, it’s based on availability.

Are All Food And Beverage Items Safe?

Yes, all food and beverage specific items are food and beverage safe. All items are professionally cleaned and sanitized prior to delivery.

How Long Is My Rental?

48 hours from the time the collection leaves the storeroom to the time it returns. For example, if your event is on Saturday, you may pick up Friday afternoon at 4pm and then return by 4pm on Sunday. All pickup and drop-off times must be scheduled with us. We will make every effort to accommodate should any changes need to be made.

Is Delivery Included?

Delivery and pickup is available with rates starting at $50.00 depending on client’s entire tabletop order/invoice and location. You may also “Will Call” pick up your order from our storeroom location on Sherwood Forest Blvd in Baton Rouge. If you select Will Call, you must have a large enclosed vehicle such as a van or SUV with seats folded flat. No open bed pickups. This is precious cargo!

Do I Have To Wash Everything Before Returning?

No! Due to the delicate nature of our items, washing service is included in your rental fee. Simply wipe the plates and drinkware free of food and beverage and place back into the provided containers and pack as safely as possible.

What If I Break Something?

Sadly, it does happen. I only cry if it was the last of its kind. All damage or losses will be deducted from your Security Deposit upon the return to Afternoon Delight. A damage fee at 5x the rental cost will be subtracted from your Security Deposit. A written/email receipt will be given explaining such deductions. All replacement fees are stated in your rental agreement, so you’ll know ahead of time. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more details on our rental policies.

Is It Possible To See Everything In Person Before The Event?

We schedule showroom visits by appointment only. Call or email us at [email protected] to make an appointment. Please note, you must have a proposal started and deposit/retainer with us in order to schedule a showroom visit.

Can I Pick Out The Pieces?

Yes and No. (Huh?) Let me explain. Collections have been meticulously curated to mix and match perfectly. You just tell us how many you need from which mismatched collection you prefer and done. Easy peasy. No selecting this plate or that glass. However, server ware and other unique items such as the lazy Susans can be selected. Make sense?
