Teacup stalker, list-maker, cat-mom of 5 (yes, you heard that right, 5 cats), Martha Stewart wanna-be, and bookworm. I’m addicted to estate sales and thrift shops and love finding beautiful old things. I love all things vintage, romantic, whimsy and of course pink! I’m obsessed with British novels and tv shows, the 50’s and 60’s especially the music, traditions old and new, cookbooks, tablescapes, frilly things and ruffles (not the chips), exploring, organizing, writing in my planner and did I mention lists. I LOVE lists!
How did all of this begin?
I have an addiction to teacups, vintage glassware and really all things that create a beautiful table setting. I think my very first teacup came from my dad when we were visiting a little antique shop in my mom’s hometown of Evant, TX (don’t blink or you’ll miss it!). I had to be 20. You know how dads are, “What do want, honey? Let me buy something for you”. So, I chose this green teacup. It was stained and old and anybody else would have thought it was gross because it was used and probably haunted. But I couldn’t help but think of how beautiful it was, the life it must have lived and all the secrets it must have! (Just don’t let me or my best friend Bridgett see an old baby carriage…now those things freak us out!) Anyway, time went on and the collection began. So it got me thinking, instead of just hoarding and keeping it all to myself, why not share them with you? I mean, life is short, let’s use the china!
